JavaScript/PHP/Web/Game Developer

Red Piston Inc. is looking for skilled Developers to work on exciting web apps and games for small and large brands. Ideal candidate should have experience in developing for mobile web platforms. Skills & Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science (or related field)/Unless self taught (must show some example work)
• Mastery of JavaScript, PHP, JQuery, C#, AS3, etc
• Ability to switch back and forth between languages.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a project through the completion of all phases.
• Ability to effectively interact with product managers and other organizational units such as QA and Operations
• Strong understanding of the server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects
• Ability to work in a fast paced, test-driven collaborative and iterative programming environment
• Aptitude developing applications leveraging JSON or XML based RESTful/ SOAP APIs

Responsibilities of Position:

• Building web applications from the ground up, as well as implementing new features, fixing bugs, etc
• Work with Account Managers to assess project requirements, explore technical dependencies, and report hour estimates for deliverable fulfillment
• Assist in ideating innovative ways to simplify solutions to maximize usability, efficiency, and satisfaction of clients
• Continuously promote the investigation and reporting of available open API’s, and off-the-shelf solutions that will maximize development efficiency
• Interface with clients when necessary
